Lumit™ Immunoassays是運用Promega專利NanoBiT® Technology Protein-protein interaction技術, 抗體經NanoLuc冷光酶的small subunit和Large subunit化學標記後 (分別稱為SmBiT和LgBiT), 在存在分析物的情況下, 當兩種抗體與分析物產生專一性結合, 使得SmBiT和LgBiT也接近足以產生冷光酶活性, 剪切受質後發出冷光訊號。

相較於” Heterogeneous”的Western blotting and ELISAs, 此系統有下列幾點優勢:
1.Homogeneous detection chemistry
2.操作簡便, 加-混-測protocol

3.反應時間僅需30 – 90分鐘, 節省人力成本

4.不須Transfer樣本, 降低操作誤差值

5.無須Wash

6.更寬廣的Linear dynamic range
